“Prayer
is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with a deity, an object of worship, or a spiritual
entity through deliberate communication.” – A definition found on Wikipedia.org.
Have you
asked yourself how often do you pray a day? Is it once, twice or thrice? What
are the things that you are praying for? Health, wealth, family, money, love or
safety? I guess we all have different answers on that question. One more thing,
how do you pray? Are you just verbalizing what you have memorized or your
composing your own? Whatever it is, the important thing is that you prayed.
Prayer is the
best & most effective way when you want to talk to God. When you pray, you
can tell him everything, from your problem, frustrations, happiness…everything.
You can say anything you like. If you just want to feel that you need to talk
to someone, just pray. But, just like other things here on Earth, we may not
get an instant answer. It may take a long time….as in very long time for our
prayers to be answered. There were also times wherein we get an instant
feedback.
In praying,
we are always tested, specifically our faith. Many of us believe in God but few
of us trust him. In whatever we do, we must keep our faith because in the end,
our faith will save us. We must always keep in mind that when things go wrong
& nothing seems right, put your two hands together, close your eyes &
say everything to God. He’ll be there to heal your wounds & He’ll never
leave you.
Do you have
an extra time today? God wants to talk to you…he’s waiting.
"I close my eyes and I can see a better day...I close my eyes & pray."
